	DESCRIPTION
	This book, in English, contains the presentations at the international gathering of Carmelite formators in Fatima, Portugal in January of 2001. In addition to the contributions from the two editors, the former General Councilor for Formation, Alexander Vella and the Director of Formation for the two German Provinces, Günter Benker, the work also includes the presentations of Joseph Abad (French Delegation), Kees Waaijman (Dutch Province), Joseph Chalmers (Prior General), Dionysius Kosasih (Indonesian Province), Sanny Bruijns (Dutch Province), and Giovanni Grosso (Italian Province). The final section of the book is an evaluation by the participants of their understanding of the Carmelite charism.
